If you're walking down Sv Road in Andheri West, you'll find us at 17, Shoppers Point. Arife Lamoulde has been sitting in this spot for a bit. It’s a hectic area, but that's just Mumbai for you. We have a lot of different molds and baking bits crammed into the space. It’s not always perfectly organized, but we know where everything is. People come in looking for specific shapes or maybe just some decorations for a cake they're making at home. We also see a lot of professional chefs who need stuff in a hurry. It gets crowded on the weekends especially. The shop isn't massive, so you might have to squeeze past someone in the aisle. We don't have a big corporate team or anything. It's just us here, helping people find what they need for their kitchens. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it’s hot outside, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but Sv Road stays the same kind of busy. We don't spend time on fancy brochures. We'd rather just show you the actual product on the shelf. If you need a specific tin or a tray, it’s probably somewhere in the stacks. We just open up, do our work, and head home like everyone else. It’s a decent way to spend the day, surrounded by baking gear and looking out at the traffic on the street.
