If you know Lamington Road, you know it’s the place for electronics and constant noise. Arabian Exports Limited is tucked away on the second floor of Kartar Mansion. It’s an old building, and the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. Our office is usually filled with the sound of phones ringing and people talking over each other. We deal with exports, so there is always some paperwork to sort out or a shipment to track down. It gets pretty hectic around here. Lamington Road is never quiet, and that energy definitely spills into our workspace. We aren't some massive corporation with glass walls; it’s more about desks piled with files and a tea kettle that’s always on. My colleagues and I have worked together for a long time, so we have our own way of doing things. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different people to make sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the logistics are a nightmare, but we figure it out. It’s just how it goes in this business. Kartar Mansion has a lot of history, and we’ve been part of it for a good stretch now. We don't bother much with decorations or fancy furniture. We just focus on the day’s tasks and getting home on time when the traffic allows. It is a simple life of managing boxes and papers.
