Aqsa Chikan Arts

Our place is at 169/171, Abbasi Manzil, on the 2nd Nishanpada X Lane. It’s right off M.U. Kokil Marg in the Dongri area. If you’ve ever been to Dongri, you know how these lanes are. They are narrow and full of life, with people and carts everywhere. Aqsa Chikan Arts is situated inside Abbasi Manzil, which is an old building with a lot of character. We don't have a big storefront with a window display. You have to know where you are going to find us. Inside, the space is filled with the sound of work and the sight of fabric. We spend hours here every day. It’s not a sterile environment; there are stacks of material and threads all over the place. We don't use fancy machines for everything. A lot of what happens here is done by hand, the way it has always been. The lighting isn't perfect, but it's enough for us to see what we're doing. We don't have a marketing team or a social media manager. We just have our skills and our location in the heart of the city. Being in Dongri means there is always noise from the street, but we don't mind. It’s part of the day. We stay focused on the chikan work and let the rest of the world go by outside our doors. It is just our way of life at Abbasi Manzil.
