Our shop is at 14 A Nisar Building on Sleater Road. It’s a busy street and the building has been here for ages. We work on machinery for bakeries. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and fixing gears. If a bakery has a broken oven or a mixer that won’t turn, they usually call us. We spend a lot of time with grease on our hands. The office is small and tucked away in the back of the workshop. There are spare parts everywhere, stacked up on shelves or just sitting in boxes on the floor. It’s not very organized to look at, but we know where everything is. We don't use any high-tech systems for tracking things, just a few ledgers and our memory. Most of our days are spent out at other people’s shops or here trying to refurbish an old machine. Sleater Road can be a nightmare for traffic, so getting parts delivered can take forever. We don't have a marketing team or anything. We just talk to the bakers and help them keep their shops running. It’s a practical business. We’ve been doing this for a long time, and the machines haven't changed that much over the years. A mixer is still a mixer. We just make sure they keep spinning so people can have their bread. It’s simple, hard work, and we’re fine with that. It's what we've always done and we'll keep doing it.
