Being in Andheri, Mumbai, means things are always moving fast. S. K. Exporters India Pvt. Ltd. is located at 22/35, right in the thick of it. Even though we have a formal name, we’re still just a group of people working out of a regular office space. We deal with sending goods out, which involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Mumbai can be a tough place to get things done with the traffic and the rain, but we manage. Our office isn't one of those glass towers you see in movies. It’s a practical space where we can focus on the logistics. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure the crates are packed properly. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and we have to spend the whole day on the phone fixing it. That’s just the nature of the export business. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just handle the shipping and make sure the numbers add up. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. If you're in the Andheri area, you'll know how crowded it gets, but we’ve found our rhythm here. We’ve been at this address for a while and don't plan on moving anytime soon. It suits us just fine. Most days we are just buried under bills of lading and customs forms.
