We are based over at 142 in the Andheri Industrial Estate, right on Veera Desai Road. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how the traffic can be. It’s a huge area with lots of different warehouses and offices all packed together. Our building is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. Every morning, the staff arrives and the place starts humming with the sound of packing tape and people moving boxes around. It’s a practical space, mostly concrete and metal shelves. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. We mostly focus on getting the clothes sorted and sent out to where they need to go. Veera Desai Road is always busy, so there’s a constant stream of trucks and delivery vans coming in and out of the gate. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with the heat and the speed of everything, but that’s just how it is in an industrial estate. We have a small corner where we keep the records and a place to sit for a quick lunch break. Most of the guys here have been working with us for years, so they know the layout of the warehouse by heart. It’s not a glamorous job, but we stay busy and the work is steady. We just try to keep things organized so we don't lose track of anything in the big piles.
