Kapoor Exports Mumbai

Being in Andheri Lokhandwala means we are right in the middle of everything. Our office is tucked away, and it’s always a bit cramped because real estate here is so expensive. We do export work, mostly focusing on getting goods moved from one place to another. It involves a lot of back-and-forth communication. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop hearing it after a few months. We have piles of samples and documents on every surface. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. Usually. We spend a lot of time dealing with customs and logistics people. Mumbai is a fast city, and we have to keep up or we get left behind. We don't have a big corporate culture here. We just come in, drink some tea, and get to work. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to get anything delivered on time, and we just have to explain that to everyone. It’s a struggle sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this city. We’ve been in Lokhandwala for years and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. It’s convenient for us and our suppliers. The elevator in the building breaks down a lot, so we end up taking the stairs. It keeps us fit, I guess. We try to stay focused on the tasks in front of us even when it is noisy outside.
