Our office is located at No. 106 in the C Wing of the Panchatantra Co-op-society. It is on Pancha Marg, just off Yari Road in Versova, Andheri West. This part of the city is quite nice, especially being so close to the coast. Shimona Exports (india) Pvt. Ltd. operates out of this residential-style building. It feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We have several rooms filled with files and samples of the goods we send out. The society is usually quiet, which is a nice change from the chaos of Andheri West. We spend our days coordinating with shipping companies and checking on production schedules. Sometimes we go down to Yari Road to grab some lunch or meet with someone. The office gets a lot of natural light during the day. We have been here for a good number of years. It is a small team, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering phones to packing small boxes. The walk from the main road to Pancha Marg is short but can be dusty when the wind blows. We know the security guards and the neighbors well. It is a steady routine of paperwork and logistics. We don't have a big sign outside, just our door number in the C Wing. It is a practical place where we focus on getting the exports out on time without much fuss. There is always a stack of documents on the table waiting for us.
