Our little office is inside the Chitrakoot Building on Sola Road, right in Andheri East. Being in number 1 means we’re pretty easy to find once you get inside. Andheri is a busy place, as anyone who lives in Mumbai knows. There’s always noise and people rushing around outside, but it’s a bit quieter once you step into the building. We focus on properties around this side of town. It’s a mix of everything here, from small rooms to big office spaces. We spend our mornings checking listings and the afternoons usually involve meeting someone at a site. It’s a lot of walking and driving through traffic. We aren't a big fancy firm with a huge marketing budget. It’s just us doing the daily grind of real estate. Some days are slow, and other days the phone won’t stop ringing. We try to keep our notes organized, though things can get a bit cluttered when we’re busy. We know the local lanes and the shortcuts around Sola Road quite well by now. People come to us because we’re right here in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big sales pitch or anything like that. We just show people what’s on the books and let them decide. It’s practical work. We’ve been here long enough to see buildings go up and old ones come down. It is just how life goes in Andheri and we are part of it.
