Ram Fashion Exports

We are over in the White House building, No. 135- A, inside the Marol Co-Operative Industrial Estate. Sakinaka is always moving, and Andheri East is a hectic place to have a business, but we like it here. Ram Fashion Exports has been in this spot for a bit. We handle a lot of boxes and fabric every single day. The industrial estate is a maze if you don't know your way around. Our space is functional, mostly just tables for sorting and racks for the clothes. We deal with exports, so there's always a lot of paperwork and checking sizes. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the machines are all going. We don't have fancy office chairs or a big reception desk. It’s a place for work. Most of the people here have been with us for years. We know the tea stall guy and the delivery drivers by name. Sometimes things get backed up at the port, and we have to stay late to fix things. That’s just the nature of the fashion business. We keep our heads down and do the work. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we sort through the latest batches. The elevator in this building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. It keeps us moving, I guess. We are just a group of people trying to get the garments out on time.
