Our office is tucked away at No. 104 in the New Tejpal Premises. If you know the Andheri Kurla Road area, you probably know how crowded it gets around here. We are right behind Lathiya Rubber in Sakinaka, which is a good landmark because otherwise, people sometimes miss the turn-off. It’s an older building, so the stairs are a bit narrow and the elevator can be slow on Mondays. We’ve been operating Pal Fashions Pvt. Ltd. from this spot for some years now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, samples of fabric, and stacks of folders. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. We aren't some big corporate setup with a lobby and a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it when someone knocks. Most of our work involves dealing with suppliers and making sure the orders are moving along like they should. Sakinaka is a noisy place with all the traffic, but once you get inside the building, it quietens down a little bit. We keep things pretty simple here and don't spend much time on decorations or anything like that. It’s just a place where we come to get our work done every day and then head home to our families in the evening. There is usually some chai being made in the corner around four o’clock, which is the best part of the day.
