Jyoti Architectural Products Pvt. Ltd. is based out of Sagar Tech Plaza at Sakinaka Junction. It is always loud outside with the traffic moving toward Andheri East, but inside we just focus on the architectural hardware. We have been here a long time now. The office isn't anything special, just some desks and samples of glass fittings and aluminum parts piled up. Most days involve talking to contractors who are in a huge hurry. We spend a lot of time checking the stock lists to see what we actually have left in the storeroom. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, which is a real pain when you are carrying heavy samples up to the office. We do not do much fancy stuff here, just the daily work of getting orders sorted. People drop by from the nearby offices to ask about prices. We drink a lot of tea while going through the paperwork. It gets really hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the windows. We usually have a few guys out on site or making deliveries across Mumbai. It is a bit chaotic because of the location, but we are used to it. The junction is always a mess with the metro construction and the buses. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. If someone needs a specific type of hinge or a bracket, we dig through the bins until we find it. That is basically how our day goes.
