We are based over in Andheri East, specifically in the B Wing of Aayushi Apartment. It's in J. B. Nagar, which is a pretty convenient spot for the team. Ashika Textile India Pvt. Ltd. has this space here where we handle a lot of the back-end stuff. Unlike a busy market shop, being in an apartment building makes the workday feel a bit different. It’s a bit quieter inside, though the traffic outside on the Andheri roads is always noisy. We spend our time going through ledger books and talking to people on the phone about textile orders. The office isn't very large, just enough room for a few desks and some samples of the fabrics we work with. Sometimes it feels more like a home than a workplace because of the room layout. We usually have the windows open to let in some air, even if it brings in the city noise. People stop by occasionally for meetings, but most of our work is done through calls. We make sure the orders are tracked and the accounts are sorted. It's a lot of sitting and typing, really. We take our tea breaks in the small kitchen area and just talk about the day. It’s a straightforward way to run things. Being in J. B. Nagar means we are close to the metro station, which helps some of us get to work on time. We just keep things running steadily from this little corner of the building.
