Our shop is tucked away at LG 78 on S. G. Barve Marg. We are right in Kamagar Nagar Samor in Kurla East. If you’ve ever been to Kurla, you know it’s a place that never really sleeps. For us at Anant Doodh, the day starts while most people are still in bed. The milk trucks arrive early, and we have to get everything sorted before the morning rush. It’s a lot of physical work, moving crates and making sure the refrigeration is running perfectly. The floor is usually a bit cold and damp, but that’s just how it is in the dairy business. We don’t have a polished corporate headquarters. It’s a practical shop designed for moving products quickly. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us for years. They know our faces and we know theirs. We don’t spend time on fancy advertising or marketing slogans. We just focus on making sure the milk is fresh and delivered on time. It’s a simple business model that has worked for us. Kurla East is a busy, noisy place, and we’re right in the thick of it. Sometimes it’s a bit of a scramble when a delivery is late, but we always find a way to make it work. We are just a local team doing a necessary job for the neighborhood. It’s honest, tiring, but we’re used to the rhythm.
