Amol Industries

You’ll find us at number 65 inside the old Bombay Talkies Compound in Malad West. It’s a bit of an interesting place to work, given the history of the site. Nowadays, it’s mostly just small industrial units like ours. We call ourselves Amol Industries, though we aren't a giant corporation or anything. We just have a workshop where we make parts and handle some basic manufacturing tasks. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of equipment, but we make it work. It’s usually pretty noisy during the day with all the machines running. We don’t have an office staff as such. Usually, the same person who is working the machines is the one who answers the door or the phone. We’ve been here for a good while and know most of the other shop owners in the compound. It’s a bit of a community in that way. Malad can be a tough place to navigate with all the traffic, so we tend to stay put once we get here in the morning. We don’t go in for anything fancy or polished. We just focus on getting the orders out the door so we can start on the next batch. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late if there's a big job to finish before the weekend. That's just the way it goes here. We don't worry too much about appearances, just the output.
