You can find us over in Andheri East at number 13. This part of Mumbai is always moving fast and our shop is no different. We deal with a lot of computer parts, cables, and broken machines that people bring in for us to look at. The space is often filled with open CPU towers and various tools scattered across the workbenches. It isn't the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We spend most of our time diagnosing why a laptop won't turn on or why a network is acting up. It can be frustrating when parts are hard to find, but we do what we can with what is available. The air conditioning is always running because the machines generate so much heat in such a small room. Andheri East is a hub for businesses, so we get a lot of office workers dropping off their equipment on their way to work. We don't have a fancy front desk; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free at the moment. It’s a very hands-on job and our hands are usually a bit dirty from the dust inside the old computers. We just keep at it every day, trying to get people's tech back in working order so they can get back to their own jobs. Sometimes we have to explain that a part just isn't made anymore, which is never fun to say. We stay busy and the day usually goes by pretty fast with all the repairs.
