Amfah Marine Traders

You can find Amfah Marine Traders over at 205/A New Evershine Apts., right near the Ram Mandir. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a trading business since we are basically in a residential block, but it works for us. We deal with marine supplies and parts, mostly connecting local boat owners with the gear they need. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of ledgers and old catalogs. Sometimes the hallway smells like the incense from the temple nearby, which is a nice change from the usual salt and oil smell of the docks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or down at the water checking on shipments. It’s mostly just a few of us running the whole show. We don't have a big corporate structure. If you call, you’ll probably talk to the same person who packed your last order. There are days when the logistics get messy and a shipment is stuck at the port, which means a lot of waiting around and drinking tea. We try to keep track of everything, but things move at their own pace in the marine world. Being near Ram Mandir makes it easy for people to find us, even if the parking around the apartments is a nightmare. We’ve thought about moving to a bigger warehouse, but we like it here. It’s quiet enough to get the paperwork done but close enough to the action to stay busy.
