Our little shop is Room No 14 on the main Kasturba Road in Borivali East. We are tucked away behind the Hari Om Custom building, right near the 1st Cross. It’s not a big place at all. In fact, it’s mostly filled with old computer towers, tangled cables, and spare parts for laptops. We spend our days hunched over workstations, trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working or cleaning out dust from cooling fans. It’s quiet work mostly, punctuated by the sound of a drill or a keyboard being tested. We don't have a big storefront with bright lights. Most people find us by word of mouth or because they live in the nearby blocks and saw our small sign. There is usually a bit of a backlog of repairs waiting on the shelves. We keep track of everything in a simple notebook. The office gets a bit hot in the afternoons because we have so many machines running at once. We usually have a radio playing low in the background to pass the time. It is a very simple operation. We aren't trying to be some big tech firm. We are just a few guys who know how to fix computers and are happy to work in this part of Borivali. People stop by to ask for advice or just to drop off a broken printer they hope we can save.
