You can find us at the Veena Killedar Industrial Estate, specifically in unit 406. We are on Pais Street, right across from the old Simplex Mill in Byculla West. It’s an old building, but it works for what we do. Every morning we climb up to the fourth floor and start the day. The area is always buzzing with people and trucks loading things. Being near the mill means there is always some history around here. Our space is filled with sewing machines and rolls of cloth. It gets pretty loud when everything is running at once, but you get used to it. We aren't big on talking about ourselves, we just make garments and try to stay on schedule. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order needs to go out by Friday. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The light in the workshop is okay, though we added some extra bulbs last year. It’s a straightforward setup. No reception desk or anything, just work tables and racks. If you come by, you'll probably see us sorting through buttons or checking seams. It’s what we know how to do. Byculla is a good place for this kind of work because everything we need is close by. We just stay busy and keep the machines oiled. We aren't trying to be fancy, just keeping the production going.
