Alifya Exports

Our place is Alifya Exports, located in Mayura House. It’s tucked away in Dongri Lane over in Versova. If you know the area, it’s not far from the water. You can sometimes smell the salt in the air when the wind blows the right way in the evening. We handle a lot of shipping and paperwork here. It’s a lot of back and forth with trucks and couriers. Mayura House is an older building, so it has some character. The stairs creak a little when you walk up. We have stacks of boxes waiting to go out most days. It’s just how we work. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, one of us just hears the door and goes to see who it is. Versova is a busy spot, but our lane is a bit quieter than the main drag. We’ve been doing this for a while now. It started small and stayed that way, which we like. We know the guys at the tea stall around the corner pretty well. Most of our day is spent checking lists and making sure everything is packed right. It’s not glamorous work, but it pays the bills and keeps us moving. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due to leave. We just put some music on and get through the work. It’s a steady life here in the lane. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few people who know the routine inside out.
