Alif

We are over in Andheri East, right in the Twin Complex Phase II. If you’re looking for us, we’re on Marol Maroshi Road, just opposite the Marol Fire Brigade. It’s a very busy spot. Being near Marol Naka means there’s always people rushing around and the Metro is constantly rumbling nearby. Alif is a small operation, really. We’ve got a few rooms where we handle all our business. It’s not a polished corporate office with a big sign and a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. We spend a lot of time dealing with the usual daily headaches—phones ringing, emails to answer, and people dropping by without an appointment. The building itself is okay, though the stairs can be a bit steep if you’re carrying boxes. We’ve got a good view of the street, so we can see the fire trucks whenever they go out on a call. It’s quite noisy, but you get used to it after a week or two. For lunch, we usually head out to one of the small stalls nearby. The food is cheap and good. We don’t have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and go home. It’s a very practical, straightforward way of doing things. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know the neighborhood like the back of our hand.
