Up on the 17th floor of World Trade Centre-1, you’ll find our office, number 1704. We are Al-Gyas Exports Pvt. Ltd. Being in Cuff Pared means we are in a very vertical part of the city. We spend a lot of time in elevators getting up to our floor every day. The view from 1704 is okay, but we are usually too busy looking at our screens or papers to notice it much. Al-Gyas Exports Pvt. Ltd. is where we handle a lot of logistics and export paperwork. It’s a lot of back-and-forth with different people over email and phone. Even though we are in a big building like World Trade Centre-1, our actual office feels quite small and personal once you are inside. We have our files stacked up and our desks are a bit crowded with papers. It’s a professional environment but we don’t act like corporate robots. We’re just regular people trying to keep the business moving forward. The 17th floor is a quiet place to work once you get past the lobby. We have a routine that involves a lot of checking and re-checking details. Cuff Pared can be a busy area to commute to, but we’ve gotten used to the pace of things. Al-Gyas Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been here for a while. We don’t have a big marketing team. We just do our work and let that be it. It’s a straightforward operation high above the street. We just want to get through our tasks and head home to our families.
