Al Barkat Exports

You can find us at Kantharia Mahal in the Kurla West area. Number 32. Al Barkat Exports is basically a small operation in a very busy part of town. Kamani is always moving. We deal with exports, which sounds bigger than it feels when you're inside the office. It’s mostly just us keeping track of boxes and manifests. The building is an older one. It has that lived-in feel. We spend our time making sure goods get where they need to go without getting stuck somewhere. Sometimes things go smooth, other times there’s a delay at the port or a mix-up with a driver. We just handle it as it comes. It's a lot of back-and-forth communication. The office isn't anything special to look at. Just desks, computers, and a lot of tea being drunk. We know the neighbors around here well. Kurla is a tough place to get around sometimes because of the narrow streets. But we’ve managed to stay here and keep things running. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything. Just us working the phones and the emails. It’s honest work. We stay busy and try to keep things moving. There is always something to do, so we don't have time for fancy talks. We just try to be practical and get the shipments out the door without any extra trouble.
