Al Anwar Trading Company

It’s a bit of a climb to the third floor here at Plot No.134. We spend most of our days in Room No.8 on Abdul Rehman Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how busy it gets. The Central Bank is right nearby which helps people find us. Sometimes the stairs feel longer than they are when it’s hot out. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The street noise comes up through the windows even being three floors up. It’s mostly just us working through piles of papers and dealing with the usual daily stuff. People come and go. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular room where the work happens. Abdul Rehman Street always has something going on. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall downstairs. The building is old but it works for what we do. You get used to the rhythm of the neighborhood after a bit. Being near the bank is handy for errands. We just keep things moving here. It’s a plain space, nothing special to look at. Just a desk, some chairs, and the usual trading business things. We stay busy enough. The afternoon sun hits the 3rd floor pretty hard sometimes. That’s just how it is here at Al Anwar Trading Company. We’re just another door in a long hallway of businesses.
