Akriti Fashion

Akriti Fashion is run by Sameera and Sanjay Desai. We are located at 6 Kothari Mansion, which is on Mint Road, right opposite the G.P.O. in the Fort area. This part of Mumbai has so much character with its old buildings and the constant sea breeze. Kothari Mansion is one of those places that has a lot of stories. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s ours. We have 81 83 Mint Road on our mail, and that’s where you can find us most days of the week. Being near the General Post Office is handy for sending things out or getting our own mail quickly. We do most of the work ourselves, from picking the styles to talking to the people who walk in. It’s a busy life in Fort, and there’s always something happening outside the window, like the sounds of the city and the people moving about. We don't have a fancy website or a huge team of experts behind us. It’s just us and a few helpers who have become like family over the years. The shop can get a bit messy when we’re unpacking new stock, but we try to keep it tidy enough for visitors. We like the personal touch of meeting people face-to-face. It’s much better than just being a voice on the phone or a name on a screen. We’ve been here a while and hope to stay for much longer.
