Agromachinery

We are located in the Fort area, specifically at 75 Mody Street. It’s an old part of the city, and our office is in Room No 4A, which is part of 21/4. If you’ve ever walked around Fort, you know how narrow the streets can be and how packed the buildings are. Agromachinery has been tucked away in this spot for a long time. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the building has that old Mumbai smell of dust and history. We deal with farm equipment and parts, which is funny because there isn’t a farm for miles around here. But this is where the business side happens. We spend our days on the phone with farmers and suppliers from all over. The room is small, and we have files stacked up pretty high on the shelves. It can get quite hot in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan is always on its highest setting. We aren't trying to be some big fancy company with a glass front. We just like being in the heart of the city where everything is happening. It’s a bit cramped when we have more than three people in the office, but we make it work. Most of our neighbors have been here as long as we have. We just focus on getting the machinery parts out to the people who need them.
