Being located at 366 Sane Guruji Marg puts us right in the middle of everything in Agripada. Ghas Bazar is always moving, and you can hear the horns and shouting from the street all day long. Texman Impex Pvt. Ltd. operates out of this space where the ceilings are high and the floors are a bit worn down from years of people moving things around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the computer for any updates on our shipments. It’s an import and export setup, so there are always different languages being spoken or different currencies being calculated on scrap paper near the phones. The building itself has seen better days, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. There is a small tea stall just outside where most of us go around eleven for a break. Agripada has a certain energy that keeps you on your toes even when things are slow. We handle the logistics and the heavy lifting without making much of a fuss. The office gets dusty because of all the road work going on nearby. We have a few old desks pushed together and shelves full of files that we still keep. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we’ve grown to like it. The name on the door is starting to fade a little bit, but we just keep our heads down and manage the daily tasks that come with being in the trade business here.
