I’m located over at Navroze Apartments, right on Bhulabhai Desai Road here in Mumbai. My space is 12E, and I’ve been using it as my base of operations for a good while now. Living and working in this part of town is interesting because of the mix of people and the constant energy of the road outside. The apartment isn't a showroom; it’s a working space where I spend most of my hours. There are books and papers everywhere, and the coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the room. I don’t have a team of people running around in suits. It’s just me, and occasionally a friend or colleague stops by to help out with something specific. People usually get in touch through a phone call or an email, and then we might meet up here to talk things through. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, very different from the corporate offices you see in the newer parts of the city. I like the old-school feel of Bhulabhai Desai Road. It has a bit of soul to it. My routine is pretty simple. I wake up, get some tea, and start going through what needs to be done for the day. I don’t use any fancy management software or anything, just a notebook and a pen mostly. It might seem a bit behind the times to some, but it works for the kind of stuff I do.
