Abhinav Electrical Industries

Our place is in Pil Court, on M K Road. It’s unit 3-B. If you know the area, you know how the buildings are structured there. It’s an older spot but it works for what we do with electrical parts. Most days are spent sorting through boxes or checking orders that come in. There’s always some dust on the shelves, no matter how much we wipe them down. The lights in the hallway flicker sometimes, which is funny considering what we do. We have a few desks and some big shelves for the inventory. It isn’t the biggest space, so we have to be careful where we put things. When the monsoon hits, the road outside gets a bit messy, but inside it stays dry enough. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It keeps the energy up. We don't really do much marketing or anything like that. People who need us usually just know where to find us in the building. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We show up early, get the shutters up, and start the day. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment is coming in. My desk is usually covered in papers and small components. It’s just how it is. We’ve been at Abhinav Electrical Industries for quite some time now. It’s a steady job and we like the neighborhood.
