Aastha Sweets & Dry Fruits

Aastha Sweets & Dry Fruits is located on Tata Silk Farm Road in Malad West. We’ve been here for a while now, selling mostly traditional sweets and boxes of nuts to the local community. The shop isn't very large, so during festival times it gets really crowded in here with people pushing to get their orders. We try to keep the glass cases full of fresh items every morning so it looks right. You can find us right on the road, it’s easy to spot if you are walking by the area. We source our dry fruits from the regular wholesale markets and sort through them ourselves to find the decent ones for the jars. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk with the customers who’ve been coming here since we first opened. We aren't some big chain, just a local shop trying to make a living. The floors get a bit sticky sometimes from the sugar, but we mop them as much as we can during the day. We do a lot of packing for weddings and gifts too. It's a lot of manual work, weighing things out and tying ribbons by hand. We don't have a website or anything like that, people just know we are here on Tata Silk Farm Road. It is just a basic sweet shop with the usual items you'd expect. We try to keep things consistent so people don't complain too much.
