We are located over in Dombivali East, specifically at the Sunil Dyeing Industries compound in MIDC Phase 11. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here every day, but this is where the real industrial work happens. Aadnya Apparels takes up the first floor of the D-7 unit. It’s definitely not a quiet place to work. We have the constant sound of the dyeing machines from downstairs and our own sewing setups going all day long. It gets pretty warm in the afternoons, especially during the long summer months. We mostly focus on putting clothes together. We get the fabric in, cut it, sew it, and then check for any loose threads. There’s always a lot of lint in the air, and we’re constantly looking for more storage space for the finished boxes. We aren't some big, famous fashion house. We are just a group of regular people making garments that people actually wear. Some days are better than others, like when a really big order finally goes out the door. We’ve had issues with the power cutting out unexpectedly or the rain leaking through the old windows, but we just fix what we can and keep moving forward. Manpada Road is always busy with heavy trucks, so getting stuff in and out takes a lot of patience. We just do our work, talk to the neighbors, and try to make sure everything is decent before it leaves the unit.
