A To Z Trading Co.

If you’ve ever been down Kazi Syed Street in Masjid Bunder, you know how packed it gets. We are located at 77/81, right in the middle of all that noise and movement. A To Z Trading Co. is basically just us handling whatever goods come through the port and need to get to the shops. It’s a lot of lifting, counting, and making sure the paperwork isn't a total mess. My uncle started this a long time ago, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. The street is so narrow that the handcarts and trucks are always fighting for space. Inside the shop, it’s mostly boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We trade in a bit of everything, which is why the name fits. Some days it's spices, other times it's hardware or dry goods. We don't have a website or anything like that because we're too busy talking to people face to face or on the old landline. It's hot in the summer and the rain leaks a bit near the back door, but we like being here. You get to see everyone passing by. It’s a honest living and we’ve got good neighbors who have been here as long as we have. We just try to keep the stock moving so nothing sits for too long. Tea comes around at four, and that's usually our favorite part of the day while we watch the rain.
