A M Computers

A M Computers is tucked away in the Laxmi Building Compound, which is on LBS Marg in the Grant Road area. We are right opposite the Swastik Cinema, which is probably the best way to find us. If you see the cinema, you just look across the road and we are there in the compound. The office is usually full of hardware, cables, and old monitors waiting to be fixed. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes with all the computer parts lying around, but we know exactly where everything is. Grant Road is a very active neighborhood, and being on LBS Marg means there’s constant movement outside. We have been working out of this compound for quite a while. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass cases. It’s more of a workshop where we actually fix things and put computers together for people. The walls are a bit bare and the lighting is just okay for working, but it works for what we need to do. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work on the motherboards. People from the nearby buildings come in when their machines break down or start making weird noises. Being near Swastik Cinema makes it very easy to give directions over the phone to anyone who is lost. We don’t do much advertising; people just find us by the address or by word of mouth in the compound. It’s a hands-on job and we like the grit of this part of town. We are usually here until late evening finishing up repairs.
