You can find A G Goel & Sons at 203, Ashirwad Building in Masjid Bunder (E). This is one of the oldest and busiest trading hubs around. The area is always packed with carts, trucks, and people moving bags of goods. Our office is up on the second floor of this old building. It has high ceilings and a lot of history. We’ve been a family-run thing for a long time, and the way we work reflects that. It isn't a modern, sleek office with cubicles and fancy lights. Instead, we have big wooden desks and old filing cabinets that have seen a lot of use. We mostly deal with trading, which means there’s always a lot of movement going on downstairs. We spend our time talking to people and making sure the ledgers are balanced at the end of the day. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, based mostly on relationships and being here every day. The tea guy comes around a few times, and that’s usually when we take a small break from the paperwork. Masjid Bunder can be overwhelming if you aren't used to the chaos, but we find it energizing. We’ve been in the Ashirwad Building for so long that we know every corner of it. It’s a simple life, focused on buying and selling and keeping the business going. We don't need fancy technology to do what we do.
