Zafraan Family Restaurant

I’ve been working at Zafraan Family Restaurant for a while now. We are tucked away in Lalkurti Bazar, right over here in Meerut. Most people know the spot because it’s near Wadhwa Chowk, basically where the Sabzi Mandi is. It gets pretty busy in this part of town, especially on weekends when families come out to eat. We have our regulars who just walk in and know exactly what they want without looking at a menu. The building itself is at 13/14, so it’s easy to find once you’re in the market area. Honestly, the place isn't fancy or anything, but we keep it clean and the kitchen is always moving. Some days the noise from the market outside is quite a lot, but inside it’s just people eating and talking. I remember when we first opened, things were a bit disorganized, but we figured it out as we went along. We see a lot of people passing through after they finish their vegetable shopping at the Mandi. It’s a practical place to sit down for a meal. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. It feels like a normal part of the local life here. Sometimes the traffic near the chowk makes it hard to park, but people still manage to come by. We just do our thing every day, making sure the food is ready when the lunch rush starts and the evening crowd arrives. It’s just us.
