Al Karim Restaurant

Our place is situated on Railway Road, right near the main Ghantaghar area in Meerut. Being so close to the clock tower means there is always something happening outside our doors. The street is constantly filled with rickshaws, cars, and people walking by. It is a very old part of the city, and we fit right into the hustle of it. We open up the shutters early in the day and do not close until late at night. The restaurant itself is a bit of a traditional setup. We have the big pots going in the back and the aroma usually fills up the front area. We do not really do any advertising or anything like that because we are right on the main road where everyone can see us. The furniture is old but sturdy, and we have seen thousands of people sit at these tables over the years. It is a lot of work keeping up with the demand, especially on weekends when everyone is out in the market. The kitchen staff is always on their feet. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when the orders pile up, but we just keep moving through them. It is a practical business, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on getting the food out and making sure the place is ready for the next day. Meerut is a busy city and we are just a small part of that daily life. It is hard work, but we like it.
