Chulha Chowka Restaurant

You can find our restaurant on the first floor of the Ganpati Complex. We are at 169-A Abulane in Meerut. Abulane is a very famous shopping street, so there are always people walking around looking at clothes and stuff. We are right next to the Naveen Hotel. Being on the first floor means you have to walk up the stairs, but it’s a bit quieter up here than it is right on the street level. I’ve been around this complex for a long time. It’s a bit of an older building, but it has a lot of life in it. We have a regular crowd that comes in for dinner after they finish their shopping. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. It’s not a big corporate setup. It’s just a bunch of us cooking and serving. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the menu cards get a little worn out, but that’s just how it is in a real restaurant. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. We just hope the food is good enough that people tell their friends. Meerut is a busy city and Abulane is the heart of it for many. We’re just happy to have a spot here. It’s a lot of long hours, standing and moving around, but it’s what we do. Nothing too fancy, just a plain restaurant in a busy shopping complex where people can sit and eat.
