Papa Ji Daal Wale

Our place is at the Old Bagpat Stand on Delhi Road in Meerut City. If you know where the Meerut Mall is, we are right opposite it. It is a very busy part of town. There are always people waiting for buses or heading to the mall. We focus on our daal, which is what we have been doing for years. The shop is not much to look at from the outside, just a regular place on a busy road. Inside, it is mostly about the food. We start soaking the lentils and getting the spices ready long before most people are even awake. The steam from the big pots fills the room. It gets quite hot, especially in the summer months here in Meerut. We have regulars who have been coming to us since they were kids. Now they bring their own children. It makes the place feel like a community spot. We do not do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how people know about Papa Ji Daal Wale. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our customers work hard for their money. The Delhi Road is never quiet, so there is always something to look at through the door. We just keep our heads down and make sure the daal is ready. It is what we do and we have been doing it a long time.
