New King Restaurant

You can find New King Restaurant over at Baxer Choupla on Mawana Road in Meerut. We have been operating here for a good bit of time. The area around us is always active with people moving through the intersection. We open the doors early and start the day by cleaning up and getting the kitchen ready. There is always a lot of prep work involved, like cutting vegetables and making sure the water is hot. It is a simple setup we have here. We don't have fancy menus with photos or anything. We just tell people what we have made for the day. Sometimes we run out of things if a big group comes in. Meerut is a place where people know each other, so we recognize most of the people who walk through the door. It feels like a neighborhood spot because that is exactly what it is. We don't have a big corporate office or a boss in another city. We are the ones who are here every day, from the morning until we lock up at night. The chairs might creak a bit and the floor shows some wear from all the feet walking on it, but it functions fine. We just focus on getting the food out to the tables. It is hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but we are used to it by now. Mawana Road is a busy stretch, and we are just glad to be a part of it. We hope to stay here for many more years just doing the same thing.
