Metro Heights Restaurant

You will find us on the third floor of Metro Plaza on Delhi Road. Meerut is a busy city, and this road is one of the main veins running through the whole area. Being up on the third floor gives us a bit of a break from the dust and the constant noise of the street level. It is a simple setup we have here. We have got the tables and chairs and a kitchen that stays pretty busy during the lunch and dinner rush. Metro Heights has been around for a bit now. We are not trying to win any fancy awards; we just want to serve food that tastes like it should. A lot of families come in on the weekends, and during the week we see people working in the other offices in the plaza. The elevator sometimes takes a minute, so some people just walk up the stairs if they are in a hurry. We try to keep the place cool when the Meerut heat gets bad in the peak of summer. It is a local business through and through. We buy our vegetables nearby and our cooks have their own way of doing things that has not changed much over the years. Sometimes we run out of a certain dish by nine at night, but that is just because we make things fresh every morning. It is a straightforward place to eat. We like seeing the same people come back week after week. It makes the long shifts feel worth it.
