Kormaaz The Taste of Mughal

Our restaurant is on Boundary Road in Lalkurti, right near Nayyar Palace here in Meerut. It’s a bit of an older area, but we like it that way. We focus on the kind of Mughlai food that’s been made in these parts for generations. We don't use any fancy machines; it's mostly just a lot of slow cooking and heavy pots. The name might sound a bit grand, but the shop itself is quite modest. We have a few tables and some pictures on the wall. The kitchen is where all the real work happens. You can usually smell the spices all the way down the street when the wind is blowing right. We don't do much advertising. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or work on Boundary Road and want something substantial for lunch. It gets pretty hot near the tandoors, and the staff is always moving. We don't always get everything perfect, but we try to make sure every plate that leaves the kitchen is something we'd eat ourselves. It’s just us, the stove, and the customers every day. If you’re looking for a place that doesn’t care about being trendy, come by and see us. We’ll be here from noon until late at night. We don't have any big secrets, just the way we were taught to cook.
