Salboni Janabikash Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based in Babuibasa, which is in the Debagram part of Salboni. It’s right in Paschim Midnapur. Our group is called Salboni Janabikash Farmers Producer Company, and we are just a bunch of local folks who decided to pool our resources. Farming out here can be tough, especially when the markets are unpredictable. We use our little office as a base to plan our harvests and figure out how to transport everything. It’s a quiet area mostly, surrounded by fields and trees. We spend a lot of time out there checking on the crops. The office itself is quite simple, just a room with some benches and a table for the ledgers. We don’t have fancy computers or a big staff. It’s just us farmers taking turns to handle the paperwork. We like it that way because we know exactly what’s going on with every sack of grain or vegetables. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the land better than anyone else. It’s not about making a huge profit, just about making sure the village farmers get a fair deal for their hard work. Anyone from the area can stop by and talk to us. We’re usually there in the evenings once the sun starts to go down and the field work is mostly done for the day.
