Medhantrik Foods Private Limited

Medhantrik Foods Private Limited is a bit of a unique setup because we are located inside the Science & Technology Entrepreneurs Park, or STEP, at IIT Kharagpur. It is an interesting place to be because there are always students and researchers walking around. Being in the Midnapore area, but specifically on the tech campus, gives us a different perspective on food. We are working on food products, but we try to use a bit of the knowledge available here in the park. The office is in the IT Kharagpur area, so it’s very quiet and professional, but we are still just regular people. We don't use a lot of fancy corporate talk. We are mostly focused on the actual process of making good food. It’s a mix of lab work and regular kitchen stuff, in a way. The weather in Kharagpur can be really hot, so being in the STEP building helps. We aren't a massive factory yet; we are more like a small team trying out new ideas. We spend our days testing things and looking at the data, but we also just enjoy a good meal like anyone else. It's a nice spot for a company like ours because we have access to a lot of bright minds. We are just trying to build something solid here in the 721302 zip code. It's not always perfect, but we are learning as we go.
