Dwarikamari Farmers Producer Company Limited

We’re located out in Vil-204 Bura Buri, specifically at Plot No-5012. Bidyut Ray is the one who helps keep all the daily things running here. The company is called Dwarikamari Farmers Producer Company Limited. It’s a name that means a lot to us because it’s our home. We aren't looking for anything fancy or complicated. We just wanted a simple way to pool our crops together so we have more strength. Bura Buri is a quiet spot, and most of us have been farming here since we were just kids helping our fathers. Bidyut’s place is where we keep all the records and the stamps. It’s mostly just some piles of papers and a few old wooden chairs. We sit there and try to figure out how to get better prices for our jute or rice or whatever else we’re growing that season. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes we argue about which seeds are better for the soil, but we always figure it out in the end. We have to go into the main town for some of the bigger things, but mostly we stay right here in the village. It’s a long way from the big cities, and we actually like it that way. The work is tough on the back, and the sun is hot, but having the company makes it feel a bit more official. We’re just a bunch of guys from the same area trying to get by.
