Punjab Steels

Punjab Steels is out on Amloh Road in the village of Tooran, which is part of the Fatehgarh Sahib district. It’s a rural setting, so we are surrounded by fields most of the time. The air is a bit fresher here than in the cities, but when the harvest is happening, it gets very busy on the roads. We deal with steel, mainly for local construction and agriculture needs. Being in Tooran, we know most of our neighbors and the farmers around here. Our facility is pretty straightforward—just a large shed for the steel and a small office space for the paperwork. Amloh Road is the main way in and out, and we see a lot of tractors and trucks passing by every hour. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. People just know we are here. Sometimes the electricity goes out, which is just part of village life, but we keep working through it. We focus on having the right kind of steel that people in this part of the country actually use. It’s not a complicated business model. We just buy, store, and sell what’s needed. The crew is small, mostly local guys from the village or nearby. We take pride in just being a steady part of the community here in Fatehgarh Sahib. It’s hard work, especially in the summer heat, but it’s a good life out here on the road.
