We are located at Shop Number 128 in Sector 3-A. Being near the Main Bazar in District Fatehgarh Sahib means there is always something going on outside our door. The traffic can be a bit of a headache when the supply trucks arrive, but we make it work. Our shop is filled with all kinds of supplies that people in the area need for their daily projects. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand. You have to step over a few boxes to get to the counter. The walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. We’ve been operating here for a while, and most of the other shopkeepers nearby are friends of ours. We usually open up early and stay until the bazar starts to quiet down in the evening. There isn't anything fancy about how we run things. We use an old fan that rattles a bit when it's hot out. Sometimes the tea guy forgets our order, but that’s just how it goes. People come in with lists, and we spend the afternoon pulling items from the back. It’s a lot of back and forth, but it keeps us moving. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the invoices are filed. It’s a practical way to spend the day. Some days are slower than others, but there's always something to organize or clean up in the back.
