Masoodpura Farmer Producer Company Limited is run out of Lal Singh’s house in Mohari Mahoba. We are just a group of farmers from around here. It’s a quiet place, and we spend most of our time out in the dirt. Lal Singh helps keep everything in order at his place, which serves as our main spot for meeting up. We decided to start this company because it makes sense to work as a group. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just have our tools and our land. Every day is a bit different depending on what the season is. We talk about the crops, the water, and how things are growing. It’s not a polished business; it’s just a way for us to keep track of things. Sometimes the work is really hard and the days are long, but that’s just how it is in Mahoba. We’ve all known each other for a long time, so there’s a lot of trust. We don't really have a big plan other than to keep farming and helping each other out when we can. It’s a local thing, through and through. We just wanted to make sure we had a way to stay organized so we can focus on the farming itself. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. We just take things as they come and try to do right by the land and our families who live here.
