Our company is called Asthoncharkhari Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are located in Asthon Charkhari, right at Shiv Ratan’s place. It’s a small operation run by local farmers. Most of us grew up here and have been working these fields since we were young. We aren't businessmen in suits; we are people who know how to drive a tractor and plant a row of seeds. We decided to come together because it’s getting harder to manage a farm on your own these days. There are so many things to worry about, like the cost of fertilizer and where to sell the harvest. At Shiv Ratan’s house, we sit down and figure things out. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't use any complicated jargon or marketing talk. We just want to grow good crops and make enough to keep going. Charkhari is a nice place, and we are happy to be working here. If you stop by, you’ll see that we are just regular folks. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. We just have our land and each other. The work is physical and sometimes exhausting, but that’s just the nature of farming. We are focused on the daily chores and the upcoming harvests. It’s a local effort to keep our community’s farming traditions alive while adapting to the way things work now.
