Kriteshwari Agro Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Hamirpur. If you are looking for us, we are at Vijay Gadu’s place in Bharwar. It’s a small village and everyone pretty much knows where everyone else lives. We got together because farming alone is getting harder every year. Costs for everything go up and the price we get for our grain often stays the same, so we thought a company might help us buy things in bulk. We do things simply here. Most of our days are spent out in the fields or sitting around talking about the weather and the pests that are bothering the crops. Hamirpur can be quite dry, so water is always on our minds. We started this to see if we could get better seeds and maybe some tools that we can all share among the members. It's not a big corporate thing, just local people trying to keep their farms going. There’s a lot of dust and hard work involved. Sometimes we make mistakes with the forms and the filing since none of us are experts at that, but the main thing is the crops.
