Ram Parkash & Sons

Ram Parkash & Sons has its home in the Lodhi Complex, which is right on Mall road. We’ve been in this building for quite a long time, and it has become very familiar to us over the decades. Mall road is a busy place, but the complex itself is a bit more tucked away, which we like. Our shop is a bit old-fashioned, and we haven't really done much to modernize it because we prefer the traditional feel. We don't have a big staff, just the family and a couple of people who have been with us for years. We aren't interested in being a big chain store or having a lot of locations. We just focus on this one shop and the people who come through our doors. Many of our customers are old friends who have been coming to see us for a very long time. We spend our days managing the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a quiet way to run a business, and we don't feel the need for loud advertisements or fancy displays. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket out and keep going. It’s a simple, honest life here on Mall road, and we’re happy to keep the family tradition going as long as we can. We stay open until the evening most days.
